Max Lucado is one of those authors you love to read his books are fun, sometimes your don’t realize how deep a point he has made until you get to the end of a passage. I have had the pleasure of reading almost all of his books, I am still waiting for the point where they will all read the same. I haven’t reached it yet. His new book is as fresh as his old ones.

As usual he uses analogies to make his point, the first one the most clear. It illustrates so very clearly that what we leave behind is what we do. People should be able to remember we made a difference on this earth and remember us in this way.

“Shirley? yes wasn’t the buffet she put on at the church for the poor wonderful?”

not:

“Shirley? uh didn’t she sit in the back of the church or something?”

Max explains in his easy-going way how making a difference in someones else’s life was one of the way we live the Christian life. Of course, we know how much Jesus loved people, He never gave up on anyone. Not the woman at the well, not Peter he knew people’s hearts.

The book is actually a light study for the book of ACTS,  he uses the people in this book to illustrate how we can change not only our lives, but other as well.

Max says int he study section he didn’t just write this book for us to read, but to act on. He wants the difference in the world to come from u.

We have many ways without distracting from our lives. inviting a family from church who  is having  financial difficulties to dinner. How about your Pastors wife? Taking her to lunch would be a very special treat.

I highly reccommend this book, more then that I reccommend the changes it dictates in your life.

Iam going to.
